General Surgery Resident, Clinical and Translational Research Fellow

My name is Devin Clegg (MD), and I am a PGY-3 general surgery resident at The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am currently completing a one-year dedicated clinical and translational science research fellowship in the Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine at our institution, with my research focused on the use of adipose-derived stem cells in regenerative medicine, breast cancer in rural populations, socioeconomic determinants of health in rural populations, lymphedema, breast and general oncologic reconstruction, and craniofacial surgery. I plan to pursue a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery this fall and hope to continue my research throughout my career.
