Ursula Adams is a general surgery resident at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received an MBA during medical school and is taking two years of research to pursue financial and operational research at WakeMed Health and Hospitals in Raleigh, NC. Her research is focused on surgical optimization and efficiency, as well as accurately capturing downstream clinical value when deciding to invest in new technologies. Currently, she is working on developing and optimizing the robotics program platforms at WakeMed and UNC Hospitals.
